We were so sorry to hear that Mrs. Zimmerman passed away. We have such fond memories of being neighbors back when we lived on Madison Ave. I recall one particularly hot summer, we didn't have air conditioning, of course and I was outside working in my garden when Mrs. Zimmerman asked if I wanted to come inside for a glass of lemonaid. They had a little window air conditioner set up in a bedroom. It was the most refreshing room on the whole block! We sat in that room for hours that day, visiting, drinking lemonaid and staying cool. Mr. and Mrs. Zimmerman were just the best neighbors! We were so blessed to live by them for so many years. You have our sympathy at this difficult time.

Dear Gayle, I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. I still think of mine so often and she has been gone for 16 years. You never fully get over losing your mom. Remember all of the wonderful times you had together and hope that it brings you some comfort.
