Grand Haven High School in 1982. He attended Muskegon Community College and
Northwestern Michigan College, and in 1986 received his Mortuary
Science Degree from the College of Boca Raton, Florida.

position of Past Chairman for the Board of Directors of Coast Guard Festival
Committee, 2015-2017 and has volunteered with the Festival for more
than 30 years.

Board, and has volunteered for Worship on the Waterfront, Habitat for Humanity,
Love in Action, and the Mulligan's Hollow Ski Bowl Expansion Team, as well
as Winter Fest and the Jingle Bell Parade.
He is a past member of the
former Grand Haven Area Jaycees, Ottawa County United Way, and served
on the Grand Haven Christian School Board.
Scott enjoys traveling, biking, boating, walking on the
boardwalk, spending time at the beach, beautiful sunsets, and snow-skiing.
