I just learned of Mickey's passing today. She was a terrific person with a great sense of humor! She was a bright light to everyone who knew her...her passing has made the world a little dimmer.

Bill and Jackie and family,
Truly a special angel has left this earth too soon, but we can rejoice knowing she is with her parents and the lord.

Jeremy and Penny ~~~~ So sorry for the loss of your sister ~ She was the BEST for sure........Mick and I had many chats and coffee breaks when she lived next door taking care of her Mom and Dad.... Now the 3 of them can be together again...RIP Mickey.....God Bless the whole family

Dear Bob, Matt and LIz, Your mom was as you know a very special lady. My fondest memory of her is how she loved her children, she was so proud of each of you. You are great kids and I am so sorry for your loss. She is happy now and is no longer suffering and that is all the comfort we can have when we lose our mom. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Liz and Family,
Thank you for sharing your mom with me and so many others. Mick was always listening with open ears, a shoulder to cry on, a hug for comfort, a confidante and friend, a compassionate heart and a rock to so many. I am sad to know that we will no longer have this opportunity to experience this in a physical form from her, but the legacy she leaves and the impact that she has had on so many lives is the gift she has left to all of us. It is time for her to be our cheerleader from afar, free from any ailements and leaving us with many wonderful memories. RIP Mom!

So so sorry to learn of Mrs. Mickey's passing. I always loved talking to her at the school and coordinating my grandson's schedule with her. She always watched over my grandson Ryan Vanslooten and he loved her dearly. She was a wonderful person.

You mom was probably the nicest person I have ever known. She always made me feel special when I was a little girl and always went out of her way to come talk to me whenever she saw me throughout the years. She was a fantastic lady and I know you have so many awesome memories to remember her by. May they comfort you during this time.

I got to know Mickey from "Shore" she was fun to know her 'til the end. I would send her pictures of cats from Bubba Mail. She loved those cats! May she rest in peace. She will be missed. by one and all. Love Ya Mickey!!

Shell, my daughters other Mom, the person who kept me grounded, the cookie mom, and person EVERYBODY called Mom cuz your house was always filled with kids and fun!!! I never thought moving to Gary St I would meet such a wonderful friend, so beautiful so loving and so caring. We went through a lot over the years, I good or bad, I hate it you got the raw end of the deal, but God needed a special angel, I will so miss you and thank god I have the memomories of all our good and bad times... Love u Shell, Dance, sing, and most of all READ!!! AND don't spare the cookies!!!!! Bless your family that they can go on, u will be so missed

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. It's so hard for us to lose her, but we know she is in such a beautiful place, without pain. She was truly one of God's special angels, so loving and giving.....no matter who needed help....she was there. No one will ever forget her smile and determination. She is free now...free of her wheelchair, free of pain but in return for that she had to leave her family. We love you Mick...and know why you had to leave us. When we feel the warm sunshine on our face or the slight breeze blowing in our hair.....we will know it's you.....telling us you are ok. You were such a special lady.

I am sorry for your loss. I was able to have the pleasure of knowing Mickie for a year. In that year she touched my heart beyond words! She was such a great person, I was blessed to have known her. Again sorry for your loss your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
