Zachary Dean Bagalay

Zachary Dean Bagalay, age 28 of Clarksville, MI, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital. Zachary was born August 11, 1986 to Dean and Lori (Scheffler) Bagalay in Jacksonville, FL. He graduated from Laingsburg High School in 2004 where he played varsity basketball and was on the track and cross country teams. Zachary loved working on and restoring cars, music and had a great talent for drawing. He was known for his great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Zachary is survived by his son, Blake Zachary; daughter, Serenity Starlight; step-son, Conner Cochran; their mother, Miranda Tase; sisters, Amanda Bagalay of Kentwood, MI, Hannah Bagalay of Haslett, MI; brother, Lucas Bagalay of Laingsburg, MI; mother, Lori Bagalay of Norton Shores, MI; grandmothers, Carol Scheffler and Maleena Bagalay; nephews, Kanyon and Kash; seven brothers-in-law; several aunts, uncles, cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Dean in 2014. A private celebration of life ceremony for Zachary will be held from 2 -4 pm on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the home of his grandmother, 306 Park Street, Fruitport, MI.
