Richard "Dick" Ulmer

Richard Frederick “Dick” Ulmer Sr., age 88 of Grand Haven passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at home surrounded by family. Dick was born November 15, 1927 to Frederick and Garnet (Grove) Ulmer in Bluffton, IN. He married Netta Quirin on August 10, 1947 in Sturgis, MI. Dick’s career as a sales representative in the printing industry began with Pipple Patterson Company. He then worked for Rogers Printing Company in Ravenna and retired from Dobb Printing Company in Muskegon. Dick was a member of United Methodist Church of the Dunes. He enjoyed traveling, spending time with his kids and grandkids and watching his beloved Detroit Tigers. Dick will be lovingly remembered by his wife Netta; daughters, Teresa Milliman of Sturgis, MI, Bonnie (Joe) DeGraves, Patricia (Jerry) Brunette both of Grand Haven; son Richard Jr. (Susan) Ulmer of Grand Haven; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Jene (Joan) Quirin of Frankenmuth, MI.
