Jeffrey Jay Wood

Jeffrey Jay Wood, age 53 of Grand Haven passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016. Jeff was born March 4, 1963 to Jack and Karen (Young) Wood in Muskegon, MI. He graduated from Grand Haven High School where he ran track and cross country. Jeff also loved to snow ski. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy for six years. Jeff worked as an equipment operator for Heyboer Excavating for 24 years. He is survived by his mother, Karen Little; father, Jack Wood; sisters, Heather Little and Staci Little; brother, Kristopher Wood. The memorial visitation for Jeff will be held from 7 – 8:30pm on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home. Full Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Charles A.
