I am deeply saddened by the news that I received today about "Woody". He was quite the character and I was honored to serve with him on the USS Juneau LPD-10. Though, we were never able to see each other after our military days we were still able to keep in touch. He was always a big supporter of what I had going on in my life and it was and is, greatly appreciated. Thank you for being a good friend shipmate and I am sure I will see you again when I move on from this life as you have.

My deepest sympathy. Jeff and I grew up together in the same Elliott School Neighborhood. I recently reconnected with him and we spent a couple days in March running around the neighborhood and reminiscing and rekindling our friendship and hoped to have some other adventures together.
