I am deeply saddened by the news that I received today about "Woody". He was quite the character and I was honored to serve with him on the USS Juneau LPD-10. Though, we were never able to see each other after our military days we were still able to keep in touch. He was always a big supporter of what I had going on in my life and it was and is, greatly appreciated. Thank you for being a good friend shipmate and I am sure I will see you again when I move on from this life as you have.

So sorry to hear about Jeff's passing. I ran cross country and track with him and Kris in high school. I remember Jeff as having a good heart and always smiling. Rest in Peace my fellow Veteran. Prayers to the family.

My deepest sympathy. Jeff and I grew up together in the same Elliott School Neighborhood. I recently reconnected with him and we spent a couple days in March running around the neighborhood and reminiscing and rekindling our friendship and hoped to have some other adventures together. I am deeply saddened and will miss him so much. Love and prayers to you all. Beth

I 'm so sorry for your loss. Jeff and I never got a chance to have that beer together, and talk Navy. We'll do it yet. "Haze Gray and under way". R. I.P. Jeff.

We only had a year together, but what a year! You stole my heart with your crazy self, awesome jokes, and true love. Lots of ups and downs, but always there for each other - wish we had met sooner. My heart, as many others, is broken. We, the survivors, are the ones hurting now; you, Sweetie, are running free from your troubles and pain! Run, Jeff, run...

Much love, your girl from Texas

I am remembering you all in prayer during this challenging time. Jeff was a great man with an awesome sense of humor. I had not seen him in years but I am sure that he was still the same. Love you all, ~Rhonda
