Dear Jan,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you today as you say, one more time, "Good Bye and I'll see you later!" With God placing our husbands together as roommates for a short time, I often heard that tender phrase from you. These guys had much in common, including Parkinson's, but it was you and I who shared conversations of understanding, family, and encouragement. There was often the sharing of prayer and scriptures in their room too, as friends and Pastors stopped by to see one of them. We're grateful that our life paths crossed and that we "just happened" to be in Spring Lake to read the Tribune with Paul's obituary last night. Isn't it wonderful to know of our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and grieve with the hope of Heaven and experience the comfort of the Holy Spirit?!? We'll continue to pray for you and your family.
