We were so shocked and disheartened by Marj's passing. She was the pillar for Fruitport Education and a sweet colleague and friend. She will be missed by many. Our sympathy to Brooks and family. God's comfort, Cap and Deb Pohlman

I first met Marge when she was a student in my Senior College English Composition class at Manistee high School in 1961. She worked in the hospital in Manistee where my daughter, Amy, was born. A few years later Marge appeared at Fruitport Community Schools where I then served as a guidance counselor. She was always a warm and friendly person as we bumped into each other over the years. I will miss her smiling face.

She will always b remembered she has touched many lives I will never forget how she taught many of us the joys of music .she is singing with the angels. My prayers go out to the many friends and family may God bless you all

Marj was one of the first people I met when teaching music at Edgewood. She was friendly, kind, and always willing to help and give advice. She was the model of mentoring her fellow teachers before mentoring was in vogue. She will be greatly missed. My sympathies to Brooks, her family, and friends.

I was so saddened to hear of Marj's passing, she was such a joy to know. Her personality and sense of humor were endless. A real fighter for teachers and their benefits. She will be sadly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
