Dear Gilbert Family:
My thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time. I truly enjoyed taking care of Dorothy at Oak Crest/American House during this past year. I felt we became pretty good friends. I know she is in a better place, with no more pain. Dorothy was such a caring person. I will never forget when she called me at home, after not being at work for two days, due to being sick. She needed to know I was O.K.. Dorothy also gave me a beautiful card after my Dad passed away in April. I know Dorothy loved her family very much. I took care of Dorothy as I would my Mom. She will always have a special place in my heart. I will miss you lots!!

Not sure how to start this out by saying Mrs .Gilbert or Mom,just because you were and will always be both to me.I just seen you not to long ago and i was going to take you out to Russ' for lunch, but I am so sorry that we did not have the chance to go. I will always remember all the great talks that we have had over the past 50 years or so, you were always there with a open ear for me, and I always felt like apart of your family. You will be miss so much, but I know that you are in a much better place than all of us.Please watch over each and everyone of us just like you always have done. Until we meet again ,rest in peace. I LOVE YOU MOM
