To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We certainly know this to be the case as we reflect upon the wonderful life and living of our dear friend, Dave Robinson. Although our connection was so short, we believe that we found true and dear friends in Dave and Sue. When we first met, Dave was so quiet and a wonderfully supportive husband to the preacher and teacher in the family, Sue. However, as time went on, we discovered that Dave was tremendously knowledgeable in the word of God! After while, it was so funny to watch as Sue would sit silently as Dave began to expound upon the word of God. We are going to miss Dave BUT WE DO KNOW WHERE HE IS....in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. We know that you will miss Dave.....you cannot help but miss an great man like him. However know that his legacy and memory will live on in all of us.

We love you all!

I was a friend of Dave's kids when we were teenagers (I am the same age as Chris, but was friends with Shelly, Christopher and Melissa), and our parents were mutual friends. I appreciated how generous the Robinson family was to myself and other kids in our church youth group. They were wiling to host get-togethers, feed a bunch of loud teenagers and allow sleepovers. My two memories of Dave were hearing him talking about the Word of God with my dad, and how immaculately he kept his workshop and garage. No doubt, Dave and my dad are up in Heaven now and talking again about the Word of God. My prayers are with the Robinson family. It isn't an easy time, I know...but the Lord will bring comfort when you need it the most. Blessings.
