Our deepest sympathy goes to everyone that had a chance to know Dave. Talking about a great sense of humor. We had many laughs during all our softball days.
Our prayers go to the family and pray that Dave is in a better place with nothing holding him back.

Dear Family and Friends,

I'm sorry for your loss. I just wanted to leave you with an encouraging scripture that has helped me deal with the loss of a loved one. It is found in the Bible Book of Palm 34:18 here God assures us that He is near to those broken at heart and crushed in spirit. Hope it brings you comfort as it has for me.

Thinking of you during this difficult time. it is so hard to say goodbye to the ones that we love. Never met your dad but he must have been a good guy as he has a great son. Hugs

My condolences to the family; he will be sorely missed. Mr. Fisher had a lasting positive influence on my life. I will never forget him reading to us, playing the guitar and the times he brought his son with him to class. He's the reason I am planning to go into teaching now that I've retired from the Air Force. Godspeed!

Mr. Fisher was one of my favorite teachers, he always had time for you. The one thing I've always remembered about him was his smile and always taking pictures. My mother and I send our deepest condolences go to his family.

As my teacher, you changed my outlook for success. As a mentor, I strive everyday to make as much of a difference in my students lives as you did in mine. You are a hard act to follow. As a friend, I will truly miss you!. Thanks for being all you were to me and to all those lives you have touched. Prayers and comfort for your family.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of the beloved MR. FISHER! He has always remained in my memory as the one grade school teacher everyone wanted to have in sixth grade and I was one of the lucky students to be in his class! From the annual Ludington Camping trip to the way he cleverly delivered to his former students photos of the class as we practiced for our graduation ceremony (in 1996) he will always be remembered! Love and prayers to his family!
