William "Lee" Eidson

William “Lee” Eidson, age 71 of Grand Haven, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at home. William was born June 2, 1945 to William and Helen (Smith) Eidson in Findlay, OH. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Lee married Judy Wilbert on January 17, 1970 in Grand Haven. Lee was a member of Community Methodist of Mears, Michigan and St. Paul’s United Church of Christ.  He was also a member of the American Legion Charles A. Conklin Post #28, the Rotary and the American Business Club of Muskegon. Lee and Judy loved to travel in their motorhome, play golf and were avid Ohio State Buckeye fans. He especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Lee is survived by his wife of 46 years, Judy; daughter, Stacie Winker of Rockford; son, Steven (Katie) Eidson of Holland; grandchildren, Noah Winker and Carleigh Jo Eidson; sisters, Carol Binder, Kae Eidson; brothers, Gary (Cathy) Eidson,  Bob (Robin) Eidson, Kevin (Dee) Eidson. He was preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law, Troy Winker.  The memorial service for Lee will be 11 am Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ with Pastor Debra DeBruyn officiating. Full Military Rites will be performed by the American Legion Charles A. Conklin Post #28. Visitation will be from 2 -4 and 6 – 8 pm on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home.
