Sharon Elaine Nook, 65, passed away on January 19, 2016 in Tucson Arizona.  She was the wife of Thomas John Nook in which they shared 45 years of marriage together. Born in Detroit, Michigan she was the daughter of Joseph Raymond Phillips and Virginia Dee Phillips.  She attended Central Michigan University as well as a local Community College.  She fulfilled her life as a dedicated wife, mother of three children and grandmother of three grandsons. Sharon was a member of St. Patrick & St. Anthony Catholic Church in Grand Haven, Michigan.  Her leisure time was spent on a variety of activities; traveling, reading and camping/RVing, but she most enjoyed being a support system to her family and friends.  She will be remembered for the strong role she played as a wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.  She carried a great sense of humor that was able to touch any situation and offer a positive outlook on life. She is survived by her husband Thomas Nook, children Lisa Graham, Andrew Nook (Margarita), Sara Hoskinson (Thomas), grandsons, Kaiden Graham, Dylan Baron, and Cash Hoskinson, sister Barbara Wilkinson (Dale), their son Mark Wilkinson and Aunt and Uncle Pat and Jerry Phillips.  Her extended family reached across many brothers-in-law (and spouses), sister-in-law (and spouse), nieces, nephews and cousins. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Virginia Phillips and has entered into the kingdom of God to join them in peace. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 6th, 2016 at 11:00am at St. Patrick & St. Anthony Catholic Church with Fr. Phil Shangraw and Fr. William Langlois officiating followed by a reception at the church center.  A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 5th, 2016 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm, Rosary beginning at 7:45pm at the Klaassen Family Funeral Home. Memorial donations can be made to the North Ottawa Community Hospital (NOCH) Family Birthing Center.  Funds will be used to purchase rocking chairs for the family birthing unit in honor of Sharon and her love for visiting the nursery.  Flowers and additional memorial dedications may be sent to the Klaassen Family Funeral Home.
