Nancy (Montalvo) Greiner

Nancy Greiner, age 50 of Robinson Township passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Henry Ford Hospital. Nancy was born June 28, 1966 to Manuel and Maria (Elizalde) Montalvo in Lansing. Nancy married David Greiner on June 24, 1992 in Grand Haven. She received her Master’s Degree in Criminal Psychology from Michigan State University. Her passions included gardening, reading, cooking and volunteering at her children’s school. Not only was she a loving wife with a great sense of humor, but also a devoted mother who found great joy in her children and had a heart of gold, always putting others before herself. Nancy is survived by her husband, David; daughter, Taylor Greiner; sons, Andrew and Justin Greiner; mother, Maria; in-laws, Raymond (Irene) Greiner; sister, Loli (Gary Walton) Montalvo; sister-in-law, Sharon (Phil) Wood; brother, Rudy (Lori) Montalvo; brothers-in-law, Ken (Cheryl) Greiner, Tom (MaryLou) Greiner, Doug (Ann) Greiner, Mike (Robin) Greiner, Dan Greiner, Dale (Jancy Mclochlin) Greiner; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel, brother, Manuel Montalvo Jr., sisters, Maria and Mondi.  A private family service for Nancy will be held at a later date.
