Marilyn Alice (Baldwin) Smith

Marilyn Smith, age 90 of Grand Haven passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Grand Pines Assisted Living.  Marilyn was born November 6, 1925 to the late Paul and Mildred (Lamb) Baldwin in Willard, WI. She married George Smith on March 28, 1959 in Orange, CA. In 2006, after living in San Diego for many years, Marilyn and George moved to Grand Haven. She worked as an executive administrative assisted for many years at Data Graphics, a division of General Dynamics, in San Diego and then at Sealed Power Corporation in Muskegon. Marilyn attended the United Lutheran Church in West Olive, MI. She enjoyed traveling and over the years went on 16 cruises. Marilyn was a very good water skier and loved spending time on the water sailing and boating.  She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 59 years, George; daughters, Christi (Richard) Heinz of Grand Haven, Sue (Jerry) Grevel of Muskegon; sons, Tari (Penny) Smith of Grand Haven, Randy (Karen) Smith of Grand Haven, Jim Searer of Muskegon; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren, sister, Charlotte Puma of Howell. A private family service will be held at a later date.
