Madeline "Maggi" (Rynn) Endsley

Madeline (Maggi) Endsley passed away Monday, April 18, 2016. Maggi was born July 19, 1946 in Jackson, MI to Adeline and Edwin Rynn. She spent the majority of her childhood living in Baldwin, Michigan on the shores of Big Star Lake. She graduated from Baldwin High School in 1964. She graduated from Michigan State University in 1968 with a degree in social work. In 1968 she married the love of her life, Jay Endsley. They settled in San Jose, CA after they were married and also lived in Syracuse, NY. They moved to Lansing, MI in 1974 where they raised their two children, Jason and Melissa. Maggi was a devoted wife and mother who dedicated her life to her family. She was a fantastic cook and kept a beautiful home. She hosted wonderful holiday celebrations and went above and beyond to make family gatherings memorable. She served as a Sunday School teacher and leader at St. Stephens Lutheran Church in Lansing, MI for many years. She was a room mother and a brownie troop leader, as well as a tireless chauffeur for her children's extra- curricular activities. Maggi was a theatre buff, who enjoyed season tickets at The Wharton Center and The Boarshead Theatre in Lansing for many years. She loved good food and good company and was always up for outings that included shopping, going to the movies and dining out. Madeline was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Adeline, her brother Jack Rynn and her husband, Jay Endsley. She is survived by her sister, Carol Kinney, her children, Jason Endsley and Melissa Beda (Greg) and her granddaughters, Molly and Kate Beda of Whitehall, MI.
