Linda Marie (Bradford) Rau

Linda M. Rau, age 67 of Spring Lake, joined her Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Hackley Hospital in Muskegon. Linda was born March 20, 1949 to Kenneth and Marie (Musk) Bradford in Muskegon. She graduated from Creston High School and went on to attend Grand Rapids Community College and Davenport University.  Linda married Michael Rau on September 6, 1969 in Grand Rapids, where they lived until moving to Spring Lake in 1992. Linda had an unending love of the Lord and spent much of her time doing charity knitting and serving on many boards at her church, Lakeshore Fellowship in Spring Lake.  Linda is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Michael Rau and beloved family members: Dick and Phyllis (Rau) Venema, Roger and Peggy Rau, Donald and Diana Rau, Tim and Beth Rau, Charles and Jan Rau, nieces, nephews and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and in-laws, Donald and Dorothy Rau. The celebration of life and Memorial Service for Linda will be held at 11 am on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Lakeshore Fellowship Church in Spring Lake with Pastor Chris Boehnke officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior from 10 -11 am at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lakeshore Fellowship Church Building Fund.
