Kenneth Harold West

Kenneth Harold West, age 46 of Fremont, MI passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 at University of Michigan Hospital. Kenneth was born October 20, 1969 to Harold and Eleanor (Kircher) West in Grand Haven. He graduated from Grand Haven High School and played the drums in the high school band. Kenneth attended both the Grand Haven Church of the Nazarene and the Cornerstone Free Methodist Church in Holton where he also played the drums and ran the sound system. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Kenneth had great woodworking skills and liked to make things out of wood. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Eleanor of Fremont; sisters, Rhonda (Jon) Faltinowski of Grand Haven, Nancy (Stephen) Shonamon of Burleson, TX; brother, Steven (Julie) West of Vanwert, OH; ten nieces and nephews, one great-nephew and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Harold and his grandparents. The funeral service for Kenneth will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the Church of the Nazarene with Pastor David Gruber officiating. Interment will be in Olive Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family one hour prior to the service at the church.
