Janice Marion Wipperfurth, passed away unexpectedly on June 9, 2015. Janice was born on August 13, 1942 in Lansing, Michigan to Guy and Novella LaTourette. She was the oldest sister to Colleen Malcom (Bill), Mary Woodyard (Jack), and Lynette LaTourette. Janice and her devoted husband, Kurt Wipperfurth, met at Michigan State University and were planning to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on November 6, 2015. They enjoyed and persevered through many years together; raising a family, traveling, boating, cheering on the Spartans, participating in Bible study groups, and just living life. Janice moved to Ormond Beach, Florida in 1983. Janice delighted in her in-laws; Barbara DeWitt, William ( Diana)  and Jerry Wipperfurth. Several cousins, nieces and nephews were special to her beyond words. Janice was a loving mother to Melissa, Barbara and Kurt Guy. Her nine grandchildren, Dillon, Cassidy; Joey, MacKenzie, Hunter, Brooke, Jackson, Pike and Reed were a tremendous joy in her life. “Grammie’s” constant love and support contributed to their strong sense of belonging and successful transition to teen years and adulthood. Spending time outdoors and walking her dog Abby, dunes in Michigan, and the mountains of Colorado refreshed her soul.  She spent time serving and comforting the homeless with passion and zeal, which was also a calling she faithfully embraced. Janice had an eternal perspective on life and was devoted to developing her faith and pursuing a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
