As a pharmacist Doctor Pfaff epitomized the meaning of professionalism at the drug store that bears his name.
The support he gave to the community of Grand Haven in such a gracious, patient manner is a memory that has remained with me through the years having moved from Grand Haven three decades ago.

Thank you, Dr. Pfaff.

My family has known Cliff for a very long time. We moved here in 1960 and Phaff's was the only place we went for our medications. He always welcomed his customers with a big smile, you felt very comfortable going into his place. He was a clown in the Coast Guard Parade for years and a pillar of the community. We will miss you Cliff, rest in peace to an amazing man who was a friend to all.

I worked for Cliff at the pharmacy from the fall of 1960 to the late fall of 1961 as a co-op student He taught me a great deal about people and the desire to be of service to others. Cliff was a very moral and honest man and I enjoyed and appreciated the opportunity to work for him.
As a result of my relationship with Cliff I spent the last 37 years of my work life as an administrator of nursing homes following the ethics and treatment of others as he taught me.
I have only the highest respect towards him and great memories of the time working for him.
Out world was a better place by having him in it.

What a wonderful pharmacist and good friend Cliff was to our family for many many years. The pharmacy was an easy walk for candy, sodas and greeting cards. He provided advice and care to the whole family about meds, booboo's and healthcare items. Warm thoughts and hugs to his family on his passing.
