Bob Hendrickson

Bob Hendrickson, age 65 of Grand Haven passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016 at his home. Bob was born January 13, 1951 to Frank and Beverly (Hutchings) Hendrickson in Grand Rapids, MI. Following graduation from Grandville High School Bob enlisted in the US Air Force and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He began his career in the field of metal fabrication at Royal Sheet Metal in Holland and later with Gateway Precision Technologies. Bob married Liane Morse on August 13, 1988 in Lowell, MI. He was a past Commander of the American Legion Charles A. Conklin Post 28 and past officer of Arie 925.Bob loved his Harley F Dyna and the joy it brought him out on the open road. He enjoyed raising and showing cats and leaves behind his beloved dogs, Missy and Daisy. Bob is survived by his wife, Liane; mother Beverly Hendrickson; sister, Barb Hendrickson; mother-in-law, Diane Morse; brothers-in-law, Brad (Sandy) Morse, Matthew Morse; nieces, Kerri Hendrickson, Audrey and Karcyn Van’t Hof; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Hendrickson and father-in-law, Milford Morse. The Memorial Service for Bob will be 11:00 am Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home. Military Honors will be performed by the American Legion Charles A. Conklin Post 28. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
