Victoria Ann Ludwick, age 81, of Grand Haven, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Grand Pines Assisted Living. She was born on December 1, 1943, in Clare, MI, to the late Thomas and Margaret (Sage) Cook. Vicky married Charles Kenneth Ludwick on May 9, 1970, in
Mount Pleasant, MI. He preceded her in death on May 7, 2020, after 50 years of marriage.
Vicky graduated from Clare High School and went on to obtain her RN license in college. Her nursing career spanned all across Michigan, primarily in the UP, where she and Charlie were most happy. Her career path led her to be a director of nursing, home health supervisor,
infection control, school nurse, and clinical educator, just to name a few.
Vicky enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino with a small bucket of nickels, and reading Agatha Christie novels. She showed no mercy when playing cards, especially cribbage. Vicky loved going on cruises with Charlie and any family that cared to join. They traveled to Alaska
many times, and she even stepped out of her limited food repertoire when spending a month in China.
Vicky will be lovingly remembered and missed by her daughter, Rebecca Moleski; sons, Charles Ludwick and Matt (Ruth) Ludwick; six grandchildren: Miranda, Samantha, Erica, and Monica Ludwick, and Theodore and Helena Moleski; sister, Helen Erickson; siblings-in-law: Galen Tower, Randy (Faith) Ludwick, Dan (Cheryl) Ludwick, and Tom, Rock, Tami, and Kari Ludwick; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of the EUP, 308 W. 12th Ave., Sault Ste. Marie, MI, 49783.
