Vickie Lynn (Edwards) Duncan

Vickie Lynn Duncan, age 59 of Grand Haven (formerly of Galax, VA), passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Mercy Hospital. She was born on September 19, 1961 in Martinsville, VA to Lonnie Lee Edwards.

Vickie graduated from Martinsville High School and then received her Nursing degree from Patrick-Henry Community College. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 36 years, having most recently worked for King's Grant Retirement Community in Virginia. Vickie recently moved to Grand Haven, and went to Lake Michigan often to enjoy the beach. She currently attended Harvest Bible Chapel and prior to her move to Michigan, attended Crooked Creek Community Church and Mountain View Baptist Church.

Vickie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, doing word searches, going for long drives, and visiting Tennessee. She leaves her family with many fond memories of her kindness and love.

Vickie is lovingly remembered and missed by her two daughters, Meaghan Dulin of Grand Haven and Elizabeth (Kenny) Odberg of Martinsville, VA; six beautiful grandchildren; her brother, Lee (Adrianne) Edwards also of Martinsville; and her close friend, Kim Whitlock.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Harriet Edwards.

Private services for Vickie will be held, with interment at Crooked Creek Cemetery in Galax, Virginia.
