Valerie Ann (Hazard) Easton

Valerie Ann (Hazard) Easton passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019. She had been a resident of Grand Haven area since 1972.

Valerie attended Michigan State University and was an Interior Designer. She enjoyed time spent with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild. Valerie was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Grand Haven. She was also a member of the Interior Design Society, board member of the Tri-Cities Historical Society, and a Red Cross volunteer. Valerie had a special flair for beautifying her surroundings and was an accomplished photographer. She had a deep and abiding concern for animals that was extraordinary, and she was a volunteer and active supporter of the Harbor Humane Society.

Valerie is survived by her husband, Roger; son, Mark (Tracy) Easton; daughter, Pamela Easton Dewitt; grandchildren: Holly Easton, Nicholas (Grace) Dewitt, Hannah Dewitt (Derek Cox), Abram Dewitt, Emma Dewitt (Cory) Anderson; and great-grandchild, Remy Anderson.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at Lake Forest Cemetery with Pastor Troy Hauser Brydon officiating. Please consider donations to the Harbor Humane Society or Meals on Wheels of West Michigan.
