Troy E. Kalmbaugh

Troy Ernest Kalmbaugh, age 48 of Holland passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018. Troy was born June 16, 1969 to Richard and Ruth (Lemmen) Kalmbaugh in Holland, MI. He was a member of Central Wesleyan Church in Holland, and was involved with the Grand Rapids Christian School Sports Program, where he enjoyed helping out with the basketball program. Troy enjoyed watching basketball, and was an avid MSU fan. He enjoyed hunting, racing snowmobiles, and spending a lot of time working on his 1965 Mustang. Troy is survived by his parents, Richard and Ruth (Lemmen) Kalmbaugh of Grand Haven; sisters, Tammy (Tyler) McPherson, Jamie (Scott) Brawner, Leanna Brandt; brother, Rick Kalmbaugh; and several nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins, and aunts. He was preceded in death by his son, Troy R. Kalmbaugh in 2010. The Funeral Service for Troy will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home with Brother-in-law, Scott Brawner officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Klaassen Family Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be made to Grand Rapids Christian School Sports Programs.
