Tara Michelle Alman

Tara Michelle Alman, age 44, of Nunica (formerly Grand Haven), passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 8, 2024. She was born on June 25, 1980, in Grand Haven, Michigan, to Terry and Cheryl (Bekins) Alman.

Tara graduated from Grand Haven High School, Class of 1998, and worked as a server in local restaurants for many years. She was passionate about cats and dogs and was a long-time volunteer for Heaven Can Wait animal rescue. Tara was a former member of First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed music, especially Christian music. She was learning how to play the guitar, which was a source of joy for her.

Tara will be remembered and missed by her family and friends who survive her, including one sister and one brother; her aunt and uncle; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Terry and Cheryl Alman.
