Steven Bruce Kiebach, age 57 of Grand Haven, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Mercy Hospital, as a result of sudden cardiac arrest. He was born on February 13, 1964 in Grand Haven, MI to Bruce and Carol (Bethke) Kiebach.
Steve graduated from Grand Haven High School in 1982 and attended Muskegon Community College, and then Davenport University, finishing with a degree in marketing. He had been employed by Harbor Industries, and then worked for Prince Corp. (Johnson Controls/YanFeng) in Holland for 32 years. Steve was a very kind and giving person and enjoyed the company of others. He loved spending time at his Happy Place, the cabin in Baldwin, where he split wood and enjoyed sitting around the fire with friends, listening to music and having a few beers. Steve spent a lot of time on the trails on his Polaris Snowmobile and in his custom Jeep. He attended a lot of cars shows with his 1979 Z-28 Camaro, which he has had since a teenager.
Steve enjoyed tinkering in his pole barn and spending time with family and friends. He was known for always being willing to help others. As his last gift to others on this earth, Steve was a donor to Gift of Life of Michigan.
Steve is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Lorie Kiebach; his daughter, Emalie (Ben) Hunt; and son, Sam (Ashlyn) Kiebach; his step-daughters, Lindsay and Ashley (Denny) LaFrance; grandchildren, Cameron and Haley Brown; his aunts and uncles, Char VanDoorne, Ruth (Larry) Horton, and Diane (Dan) Young; his three nieces and nephews, and their mother, Sarah; several cousins; special friend, Ray Nelson; and his gang of buddies from up north at the cabin.
