Stephen Michael Mullen

Stephen Michael Mullen, age 69, of Grand Haven, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at home. He was born on September 22, 1955, in Port Huron, MI, to the late Raymond and Rose (Slingerland) Mullen. Stephen married Denise Lenae Hull on April 22, 1990, in Grand Haven. 

Stephen graduated from high school and went on to work for JWI in Holland, later retiring from Donnely Corp. in Holland. He was an antique enthusiast who loved to go antiquing and owned two antique cars which he was most proud of. 

Stephen was a talented woodworker who enjoyed building and making things from wood and fixing things around the house. He was a big NASCAR fan who enjoyed watching the NASCAR Cup Race and watching truck racing. Stephen loved to be outdoors and going on road trips, going to the beach, hiking, and going for walks and bike rides to the Grand Haven Pier and Boardwalk. 

Stephen will be forever remembered and missed by his wife of almost 35 years, Denise; daughter, Jennifer Mullen; son, Leon (Kerrie) Hagadorn; six grandchildren: Kolton, Johnathan, Carey, Bobby, Dalton, and Tanner; two great-grandchildren: Athena and Tanner Jr.; and a sister. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Bill Hagadorn. 

Private family services will be held.

Interment will be at Lake Forest Cemetery.
