Sara Ann (Catron) Holmes

Sara Ann Holmes, age 40, of Nunica, passed away at home on Monday, June 23, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on September 2, 1984, in Grand Haven, MI, to Jack and Deborah (Berg) Catron. Sara married Troy Holmes on June 23, 2024, in Grand Haven.

Sara enjoyed reading, knitting, the arts, and drawing. She loved her dog, Beau Jangles, camping up North at "the 40," and especially spending time with her family.

Sara will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her husband, Troy; her mother, Deborah Catron; mother-in-law, Sue Holmes; brother, Jacob (Nicole) Catron; her two nephews, Jace and Carter Catron; and siblings-in-law, Todd (Brenda) Holmes, Terri (Jeff) Hoffman, and Tal Holmes.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Catron; father-in-law, Roger Holmes; and sister-in-law, Tammy Schmidt.

A Graveside Service for Sara will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Robinson Township Cemetery, with Pastor Jeff Elzinga officiating.
