Ryan Michael Maguire

Ryan Michael Maguire, age 25 of Grand Haven, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Mercy Hospital. He was born on October 24, 1995 in Royal Oak, MI to David and Kerry (Jenkins) Maguire.

Ryan graduated from Grand Haven High School, Class of 2014, where he played on the football and lacrosse teams. He went on to kick for Alma College before finishing his Bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University.

Ryan was a talented athlete and loved working out and staying fit and healthy. He enjoyed golfing with his family, boating on Lake Michigan, and bringing those he loved together. Ryan was a hard worker and always kept busy with his work as a Sales Engineer for Keyence. He will be remembered and missed by many friends, family, and coworkers who hold fond memories with him.

Ryan is survived by his parents, David and Kerry Maguire of Grand Haven, his two brothers, Brandon Maguire (Kimberly Lo) and Adam Maguire; his grandparents, Fred Maguire and Karen Jenkins. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles: Doug Maguire, Kathleen (Ken) Biron, William (Mari) Jenkins, Kimberly (Larry) Durka, Kelly Dalimonte, and Kathleen (Charles) Penzien. Ryan was preceded in death by his Grandma Mitzi Maguire and Grandpa Kenneth Jenkins.

The Visitation for Ryan will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at St. Patrick-St. Anthony Catholic Parish. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Charles Schwartz officiating. Masks and Social Distancing will be required at all services.
