Rosemarie Emilie (Wurzer) Boburka

Rosemarie Emilie Boburka, age 88, of Grand Haven, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 7, 1937, in Landshut, Germany, to the late Carl and Theresia (Stimmelmeier) Wurzer. She married John E. Boburka on May 19, 1956, in Berwyn, Illinois.

Rosemarie moved to the United States from Germany when she was 19 years old. In her working years, she worked for Western Electric Company and Blistex Inc. in Illinois.

Rosemarie was an avid reader who loved crocheting, gardening, and tending to her flower beds. Rosemarie was most known for being a very hard worker and an excellent cook who enjoyed cooking for her family.

Rosemarie will be lovingly remembered and missed by her loving husband of 68 years, John; and their three children: Joanne (Ted) Pason of Indiana, and Pam (Jim) Pilko and John Boburka all of Grand Haven, MI; four grandchildren: Dan and Michael Pilko, Kevin (Angel) Pason and Stephany Pason; great-grandchildren, Madison King and Kinley Pilko; her three sisters: Marie Bryant, Renate (Richard) Berg, and Margot Martl; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, parents-in-law, her brother and sisters, and their spouses.

Private family services will be held.
