Rosella L. (Linden) Curry

Rosella L. Curry, age 86, of Grand Haven, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024, at a local care facility. She was born on September 15, 1937, in South Haven, MI, to the late Allen and Hazel (Johnston) Linden. Rosella married John F. Curry on July 22, 1961, in Battle Creek, MI. He preceded her in death on March 9, 1996, after 34 years of marriage.

Rosella graduated from South Haven High School and went on to become an LPN, working in healthcare until starting her family. She was a member of St. Patrick – St. Anthony Catholic Parish for many years where she was very active in church activities, led bible studies, and was very committed to her faith. Rosella was an avid reader and she especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports.

Rosella will be lovingly remembered and missed by her two daughters, Alice Curry of Deerfield, IL, and Elizabeth (Thomas) Jahnke of Grosse Pointe Farms, MI; two sons, Charles (Patricia) Curry of Hudsonville and Edward (Rena) Curry of Grand Haven; six grandchildren: Zachary (Alyson), Allen, Brett, and Kristen Curry, and Liesl and Magnus Jahnke; great-granddaughter, Paisley Curry; and sisters-in-law, Martha and Mildred.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

The Memorial Mass for Rosella will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at St. Patrick – St. Anthony Parish, with Fr. Dan Schumaker officiating. Visitations will be held at Klaassen Family Funeral Home on Friday, March 8th, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., with Rosary recital at 7:00 p.m., as well one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.

Interment will be at Robinson Township Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society-MI or St. Patrick - St. Anthony Parish.
