Robert "Bob" Emil Strazanac

Robert “Bob” E. Strazanac, age 69 of Grand Haven, passed away at home on Friday, February 9, 2024. He was born on May 15, 1954, in Grand Haven, MI, to the late Arthur and Phoebe (Brown) Strazanac.

Bob grew up in Grand Haven and attended Grand Haven High School. In his younger years, he loved to travel out West, working as a chef for ski resorts in the Idaho area in the winter months, and working on yachts in the Caribbean in the summer months.

Bob was employed by Automatic Spring in Grand Haven and later, West Michigan Molding. He enjoyed following sports on TV and loved to spend time with his friends at the Grand Haven Eagles, Aerie #925, where he was a well-known, long-time member. Bob loved to be outdoors and was an avid fisherman who also enjoyed hunting.

Bob will be remembered and missed by many, including his brother, Greg (Donna) Strazanac; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by three brothers: Steven, James, and David Strazanac and their spouses.

The Memorial Service for Bob will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Klaassen Family Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Bytwerk officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Lake Forest Cemetery.
