Robert Andersen

Robert “Rob” Carsten Andersen, son of Russ and Flo Anderson of Grand Haven, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022 at a local nursing home.

Rob loved music and was a graduate of Grand Valley State University and also participated in Hope College’s Chapel Choir.

Rob was a member and also worked at First Presbyterian Church of Grand Haven, where he enjoyed being in the choir. His past working experience was in customer service at various places including Hayworth in Holland. He was also in various plays, including “Fiddler on the Roof” in Holland, where he was cast as “Tivea.”

Rob is survived by his parents, Russ and Flo; his son, Michael (Brittaney) Greene; and grandchildren, Sophie and Ellie. Also surviving are his aunt, Ruth; uncles, Jim, Ed, and Michael; and various other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The Memorial Service for Rob will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Kristine Aragon Bruce, Rev. Troy Hauser Brydon, and the Rev. Dr. Jared Cramer officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Grand Haven Township Historic Cemetery.
