Peter Niotis

Peter Niotis, age 51 of Grand Haven, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at home, surrounded by family. He was born on August 7, 1970 to Jim and Vlasia (Frangos) Niotis in Chicago, Illinois. He married Stephanie Watychowicz on October 26, 1997 in Chicago.

Peter was the Owner/Operator of Mr. Kozak’s Gyros restaurant in Grand Haven and Holland, and prior to this, he worked in the heating and cooling industry for several years. He was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.

Peter’s greatest joy came from cooking different foods, playing the drums, traveling, visiting his home town of Chicago, and spending time with his family.

Peter is survived by his wife, Stephanie; his two daughters, Dimitra Niotis and Vlasia Niotis; and his two uncles, Bill (Susan) Frangos and Harry Frangos. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Ted Niotis.

The Funeral Service for Peter will take place at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. John Sakellariou officiating. Interment will be at Lake Forest Cemetery.
