Peter Fredrick Dalman

Peter Fredrick Dalman, age 50 of Crockery Township, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019. He was born on March 2, 1969 in Grand Haven to Melvyn and Betty (Peel) Dalman. Pete married Susan Wildrom on September 11, 1993 in Grand Haven, MI.

Pete graduated from Grand Haven High School, Class of 1987 and was a dedicated employee at Active Manufacturing for 24 years. He was a member of Harvest Bible Chapel in Spring Lake, and always had a strong faith in God. Pete loved to vacation in Disney World and in the Upper Peninsula and enjoyed spending his time with his family and friends. He liked gardening, hunting, fishing, and raising his chickens. Pete had a knack for hunting for mushrooms, and making his home-made pickles from his garden. He was a collector of antiques and old coins, and designed and made knives. Pete loved to sing in the choir at church and was always a happy person with a positive outlook on life.

Pete will be remembered and missed by his wife of 25 years, Susan; children, Maria and A.J.  Dalman; mother, Betty Peel Dalman; mother-in-law, Marilyn Wildrom; sister, Jennifer (Mike) Lopez; brother, Dean Dalman; sister-in-law, Sheila (Steve) Goodman; brother-in-law, Jerry (Diane) Wildrom; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Melvyn; and father-in-law, Jerry Wildrom.

The Celebration of Life for Pete will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Harvest Bible Chapel, Spring Lake with Pastor Dan Turner officiating. Visitation will be immediately following the service at the church. Interment will take place at Spring Lake Township Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be given to Peter’s Children’s College Education Fund C/O Susan Dalman.
