Patricia Gale (Runnion) Piper

Patricia "Pat" Gale Piper, age 61, of Spring Lake, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at home. She was born on October 19, 1964, in Grand Haven, MI, to the late Theodore and Pauline (Freeland) Runnion.

Pat graduated from Grand Haven High School and was a lifelong resident of the area. She loved NASCAR, her grandchildren, and her cat. Pat also enjoyed cooking and watching the Detroit Lions play football.

Pat is lovingly remembered and missed by her son, Kenny (Ashley) Piper of Spring Lake; stepchildren, Kari Smith and Erik (Ellen) Piper; grandchildren, Aiden Alder, Keagan and Raylynn Piper; and her step-grandson, Kaidrick.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joann Hornstra; and her brother, Ray Runnion.

A Celebration of Life for Pat will be held at a later to be announced.
