Michael-Mechelle Cook

Michael-Mechelle Cook, of Grand Haven, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at the age of 63. He was born on July 3, 1961, in Grand Haven, MI.

Michael graduated from Grand Haven High School in 1980. On October 20, 2003, he became a member of the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of Potawatomi Indians.

He always seemed happy and willing to help others, going all the way back to his early school days. Mike will be deeply missed. 

He leaves behind three brothers: Ken (Jean) Cook, Kevin Cook, and John Cook; and several cousins, nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Ella Cook; father, Kenneth Lee Cook; brother, Craig Allen Cook; and his nephew, Kyle Cook.

Private family services will be held.
