Mary Ann (Kaskey) Gesiakowski

Mary Ann Gesiakowski, age 84 of Grand Haven, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at home. She was born on May 18, 1936 in Chicago, IL to the late Edward and Ann (Greyber) Kaskey.

Mary Ann moved to the Grand Haven area in 1969 and worked for Crouse Supply for five years, and most recently, Zelenka’s Nursery for 10 ½ years. She was a member at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Spring Lake and enjoyed gardening, cooking, playing cards, and reading. Mary Ann also had a special affection for birds; namely Orioles and Hummingbirds. She especially loved her family and home, and enjoyed spending quality time them as often as possible.

Mary Ann is lovingly remembered and missed by her daughter, Stacy Gesiakowski of Comstock Park; four sons, Ed Gesiakowski of Spring Lake, Bob (Kim) Gesiakowski of Norton Shores, Rick Gesiakowski of Grand Haven; and Blake (Julie) Gesiakowski of Grand Haven; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her three sisters, Patsy Supernaw, Delores Kunkle, and Sally Ostrum; brothers, John and Edward Kaskey; granddaughter, Camille Gesiakowski; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Gesiakowski; and sister-in-law, Mary Kaskey.

The Memorial Mass for Mary Ann will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 4, 2020 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Spring Lake, with Fr. David Gross officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
