Marilyn Miles Obituary

Marilyn Joyce Miles, age 86, of Grand Haven, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Lakeshore Assisted Living-Seville Residence. She was born on May 8, 1938, in Grand Rapids, MI, to the late Roy and Florence (Miller) McDonald.

Marilyn graduated from high school and then graduated with her master’s degree from Albion College. Throughout different points in her life, she worked as a teacher, a photographer, and a piano teacher. Marilyn was a member of United Methodist Church of the Dunes for many years and enjoyed quilting, gardening, and the company of her cats.

Marilyn is lovingly remembered and missed by her son Andrew (Sarah) Miles. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Miles.
