Marianne (Woolley) Kibben

Marianne Kibben, age 94, of Grand Haven, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Grand Pines Assisted Living. She was born on April 24, 1930, in Woodhull, IL, to the late Rollo and Frances (Kellogg) Woolley. Marianne married John Edward Kibben on May 21, 1955, in Grand Rapids. He preceded her in death on February 3, 2000, after 44 years of marriage.

Marianne graduated from Alfa High School in Illinois. She worked as an administrative assistant for various insurance companies earlier in life but was a homemaker at heart.

Marianne was a long-time member of the Bible Doctrine Church of West Michigan in Allendale who loved to study the word of God and share His word with others. She was an avid reader who loved painting, collecting antiques, and tending to her flower gardens, and was most known as being an excellent cook and loving mother.

Marianne will be lovingly remembered and missed by her two sons, Tim (Margaret) Kibben and Jeff Kibben; and three grandchildren: Amanda Sellers, Jonathan Kibben, and Lindsay Kibben.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her two brothers, James and Gene Woolley.

Private family services for Marianne will be held.
