Marcus Brian Mishica

Marcus Brian Mishica, age 40, of Spring Lake, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Corewell Health-Meijer Heart Center. He was born on February 14, 1985, in Hancock, MI, to Brian Mishica and Dawn Kero.

Marcus graduated from Gwinn High School, Class of 2004 where he loved playing sports and was a good high school athlete. He then attended Northern Michigan and Cal-State Fullerton Universities. Marcus enjoyed all sports and was an especially loyal fan of MSU sports and the Detroit Lions football team. He loved being out on the water, especially Lake Superior. Family was most important, and he relished time spent with his two nieces.

Marcus will be forever remembered and missed by his parents, Brian Mishica and Dawn Kero; grandparents, Jeanne Mishica and Arnold (Suzanne) Kero; sister, Brooke Mishica (Matthew Lator); and nieces, Nora and Lucy Lator. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Mishica.

The family would like to thank Anne and Alice Mishica for the love and support they showed Marcus.

A Celebration of Life for Marcus will be held at a later date to be announced.
