Lucinda “Cindy” Marie Engel

Lucinda “Cindy” Marie Engel, age 65 of Titusville, FL, (formerly Grand Haven), passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at her home in Florida. She was born on August 8, 1956 in Grand Haven, MI to Glenn and Ethel (Schippers) Engel.

Cindy graduated from Grand Haven High School, was a former member of St. Patrick - St. Anthony’s Catholic Parish, and spent the last half of her life living on the east coast of Florida.  She worked at the American Legion Post #1 in Titusville, and enjoyed crafting and sewing.

Cindy is lovingly remembered and missed by her significant other, Michael Smith; her mother, Ethel Engel; two sisters, Teresa Engel (Warren Brown) and Keli (Tim) Olson, both of Grand Haven; her brother, Glenn (Tricia) Engel of Ferrysburg; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Engel in 2018.

The Memorial Service for Cindy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at St. Patrick - St. Anthony’s Catholic Parish with Fr. Charles Schwartz officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Grand Haven Township Lakeshore Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society of Michigan or St. Patrick - St. Anthony’s Parish-Food Pantry.
