Lorinda Eileen (Stoepker) Haines

Lorinda Eileen Haines, age 86, of Muskegon, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, at home. She was born on March 3, 1939, in Grand Rapids, MI, to the late Charles and Lorraine (Kremer) Stoepker.

Lorinda graduated from Hopkins High School and had lived in the West Michigan area since 2006. She worked as a receptionist in various capacities for many years until her retirement. Lorinda was an avid reader and artist who enjoyed sketching. She also loved to go camping, working outside in her garden, and travel.

Lorinda will be lovingly remembered and missed by her two daughters, Lorine Haines of Muskegon, and Caryn (Mark) Huizen of Grand Haven; her son, Brett (Sherry) Haines of Florida; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her sister, Patricia (Ron) Nordstrom; brother, Melvin (Linda) Stoepker; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, William Stoepker.

Private family services will be held.
