Lori Ann (Vredeveld) Carskadon

Lori Ann Carskadon, age 61, of Grand Haven, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital. She was born on October 19, 1963, in Grand Haven, MI, to the late Theodore and Jodean (Hoek) Vredeveld. Lori married Joseph M. Carskadon on February 12, 1983, in Grand Haven.

Lori graduated from Grand Haven High School, Class of 1982. She went on to work as a customer service representative at Zelenka Nursery, and most recently was working at Suburban Propane.

Lori enjoyed music, traveling, and going on vacation. She was a loyal Pittsburgh Steelers fan who loved being outdoors in the summertime and especially enjoyed watching the local skydivers go skydiving while she sat on her porch. Family was most important to Lori, especially spending time with her three grandchildren.

Lori will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband of 42 years, Joe; her daughter, Jessica (Michael) Andree; son, Jason Carskadon; three grandchildren: Marissa and Olivia Andree, and Jayden Marvin; two brothers, Craig and Jeff (Jennifer) Vredeveld; her close friends, Robin and Wes Cleveland; several siblings-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service for Lori will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Trinity Church Grand Haven with Pastor Doug Bytwerk officiating. Visitations will be held on Monday, April 14th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Klaassen Family Funeral Home, as well as one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. Interment will be at Lake Forest Cemetery.
