Linda Kay Teaford (Swiftney), age 74, of Grand Haven, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Trinity Health Grand Haven Hospital. She was born on June 16, 1951, in Muskegon, MI, to the late Donald and Norma (Cox) Swiftney.
Linda was a 1969 graduate of Grand Haven High School, a retired waitress from Russ' Restaurant, and manufacturing worker at CMA. She married the love of her life, Michael Teaford, on March 15, 1975. He preceded her in death on February 4, 2022, after 46 years of marriage.
Linda had a passion for reading, word-searches, crime shows, going to craft shows, and plants (especially Hoyas). She especially enjoyed feeding and watching the birds outside (especially hummingbirds) and going to greenhouses to find the perfect flower arrangements for her patio. Most of all, Linda enjoyed helping and caring for her family.
Linda will be lovingly remembered and missed by her daughter, Ashlie (Allen, Jr.) Vanderzwaag of Grand Haven; her son, Adam (Cheryl) Teaford of Grand Haven; her four beloved grandchildren: Mackenzie, August, Jaxon, and Kolten; her sister, Candice (George) Heyboer; sisters-in-law, Barbara Deaton and Sue (Jim) Perreault; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Michael; her three sisters: Diana Coveart, Debra Kidd, and Sandra Columbus; and her sister-in-law, Patricia Hurst.
In accordance with Linda's wishes, no public services will be held.
