Linda Rae (Start) Brock

Linda Rae Brock, age 72, of Grand Haven, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025. She was born on August 5, 1952, in Grand Haven, MI, to the late Milton and Pauline (Veining) Start.

She is survived by her partner, Gordon Bawinkel; her daughter, Jennifer (Ian) Larkin; son, Ryan Brock; brother, Donn (Debbie) Start; niece, Jody (Eric) Campau and their two children; and nephew, D.J. (Lauren) Start and their two children.

Linda graduated from Grand Haven High School, Class of 1970. She spent her career working for Coldwell Banker Woodland Schmidt from where she retired.

Linda was a member of the American Legion Charles A. Conklin Post 28 Auxiliary where she enjoyed going to play Trivia. She enjoyed going to concerts, reading at the beach, traveling, playing cards, and having lunches with her friends. She was also a big MSU, Detroit Tigers, and Green Bay Packers fan.

The Memorial Service for Linda will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Grand Haven Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Ron Heiler officiating. Luncheon to follow. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church.
