Lawrence “Larry” Grant Lutzke

Lawrence “Larry” G. Lutzke, age 79 of Grand Haven, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at home. He was born on September 9, 1944, in Grand Rapids, MI, to the late Fredrick and Eva (Moon) Lutzke. Larry married Barbara Squires on April 8, 1967, in Grand Rapids.

Larry graduated from Creston High School and Davenport College. He worked as a dispatcher for various trucking companies throughout the years, which he loved. He enjoyed fishing and boating on Brooks Lake, where he especially loved to spend time with his family and friends.

Larry will be forever remembered and missed by his beloved wife of 56 years, Barbara; and their two daughters, Dawn Lutzke and Dana Beekman; two granddaughters, Anna Beekman and Ariella Clark; brothers, William (Belinda) Lutzke and Donald (Jeanne) Lutzke; sister-in-law, Peggy Rens; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Eva Lutzke; parents-in-law, Eugene and Margaret Squires; his brother, Fred Lutzke; and brother-in-law, Frank Rens.

Private family services will take place.
