Lawrence Henry "Hank" Harden, age 88, of Grand Haven, passed away at his home on Friday, May 8, 2026.  He was born June 22, 1937, in Grand Haven, MI, to the late George and Julia (Buczynski) Harden. Hank married Therese Fricano on February 23, 1963, in Grand Haven.

Hank graduated from Grand Haven High School in 1955. He worked at Gardner-Denver for 27 years and Bennett Pump for 11 years, then part-time at the Grand Haven State Police Post for 11 years. Hank was a longtime member of St. Patrick Church of St. Patrick - St. Anthony Catholic Parish.

Hank is survived by his wife of 63 years, Therese; their three children: Larry (Diane Wiersma) Harden, Leigh Ann (Dennis) Hawver, and Dr. Steven (Lanette) Harden; grandchildren: Elise (Nick) Wilson, Dr. Kelsi (Easton) Bevel, Alec (Gabby) Harden, Cole (Alicia) Harden, Lauren Harden, Mason (Rachel) Hawver, Morgan (Kyle) Hnatiuk; great-grandchildren: Maren and Calvin Wilson, Ira Bevel, Cecilia Harden, Eleanor and Hayden Hnatiuk, and Baby Hnatiuk (due June 2026), and Baby Hawver (due September 2026).

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Virginia Stolarz; and brother, David Harden.

The Memorial Mass for Hank will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at St. Patrick Church of St. Patrick - St. Anthony Catholic Parish, with Fr. Dan Schumaker officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Tuesday, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the church. A private family Interment will be held in Lake Forest Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Patrick - St. Anthony Catholic Parish or to Hospice of Michigan.
